American Horror Story(2011-ongoing)
Every Season has its own theme and Story line, they play in different Time lines and they are all connected somehow, but its not necessary to know them all to be able to follow the Story. I would still advise you to watch Season 1 and maybe Season 3 before watching Season 8, because those 3 Seasons are strongly connected - All other Season can be watched on their own without leaving to many Questions out in the open. Many Actor star in different Seasons in different roles, They plan to do at least 13 Seasons (9 are already completed). The runtime per Episode differs from 37-73 min.

Season 1: Murder House (12 Episodes) - Haunted House Theme
Season 2: Asylum (13 Episodes) - Lunatic Asylum
Season 3: Coven (13 Episodes)- Witches
Season 4: Freak Show (13 Episodes) - Jup, a Freak Show
Season 5: Hotel (12 Episodes) - I don't want to Spoiler to much, lets say the Story takes place in a Hotel and there are different kinds of Evil in there
Season 6: Roanoke (10 Episodes) - The lost colony Roanoke
Season 7: Cult (11 Episodes) - some kind of sect with lunatic murderers
Season 8: Apocalypse (10 Episodes) - The End of the World
Season 9: 1984 (9 Episodes) - Blood Camp

Another House, another Story. The People who created Haunting of Hill House are back to tell another Story-the Story's are not related , but some Actors from Hill House also star in Bly Manor. The Story is told in 9 Episodes this Time(runtime 46-66 min)
