This time I changed the genre of the movies or series I watch. For this reason, today I am going to talk about a war movie. I watched it for the first time at the cinema with my brother and cousin. And today, I watched it for a second time but with my father.  The main mission or objective of this film is to deliver a message to a colonel to call off the attack. It might seem a simple job, but you can never know what war might surprise with. Two soldiers embark on this Journey William Schofield and Thomas Blake. Why did General Erinmore pick Blake for this mission? It's obvious you have to pick the soldier who is most affected by this situation and he will do anything to go all the way. Blake was their perfect candidate, his brother was in the 2nd Devons. So, of course, his brother would do anything to get there on time. Blake not knowing what kind of journey he was going to be sent, he chose his friend Will to accompany him. Next thing they know, they were on their way to death. They had to cross German front lines in order to get to Ecoust and then to Croisilles.  Before moving forward, the scenery, the way this movie is shot is just epic. In addition, to very suspense music that keeps on the edge of your seat. One specific scene when they get to the German bunkers, they stumbled upon a tripwire. You wouldn't expect what comes next. A rat triggers and almost burry William. After that, they reached a small house with a barn next to it. While there, they witnessed an aerial dogfight which resulted in the German plane nearly crashing into them. Despite helping the German, he didn't even care and stabbed Blake right through his stomach. This is pure evil, but at the time the Germans were known to have this mentality that if I am going down you are coming down with me. Schofield then meets with another squadron and they gave a lift at the border of the city. While Schofield is crossing over the bridge, a German starts shooting at him. For a second here everything went silent and then the shot came out of nowhere. The funny thing is I had the volume so high that I felt the bullet. Having killed this German he continues his way to Croisilles where again he is faced by another but manages to escape underground where he meets a lovely french lady with a baby. This shows that even the war can't stop humans from breathing new life into this world. Will rests for a bit, afterward, he continues his journey. And again he came across Germans. To escape unscathed he jumped into the river which led straight to the 2nd Devons.  To be honest I don't know how he was able to stand on his feet, in the last 24 hours he was subject to death on 3 occasions. But the will to fight and save his countrymen was bigger. He went on asking for the colonel. He crossed all the trenches and he got just late but enough to save at least a thousand soldiers. The run he made to get to the colonel is just mindblowing. He could have ended up blown to pieces.   Rating: 9.0/10
