Plot: A young aerospace engineer is forced to go to the moon because of the potential wealth that there may be. Furthermore, it must resolve its internal conflict due to the forbidden love for his best friend's fiancée.

"Never" does not exist for the human mind only .. "Not yet." Nice, interesting and well-lighted interiors, high-quality camera, excellent actors. The first twenty-five minutes it looks like a comedy of crazy professor while dragging pace. Then comes the criminal part of the story, in which the viewer can not laugh. Global conspiracy then depersonalizes viewer's empathy to characters. Even at that time it had to be a physical manifestation of the main character to his forbidden love funny (running time between 1:04:30 and 1:09:30). Almost nothing makes sense, whether it's security of spacecraft, confidence that in the moon human can exist without a spacesuit or the logic of fighting with the enemy.

Action: It is more ridiculous than thrilling. Time making the film still did not offer rousing action scenes, perhaps what we know from the eighties until today, but resembled rather grotesque, which was at the time of the making of film quite widespread.

Romance: Love of two men to the same woman is interesting thing to analyze but screenwriter didn’t pay it so much attention. The protagonists have attributed only simple character traits and expressing their affection through a dreamy look in her eyes, strong hugs and stuff like that that can delight Rosamunde Pilcher’s and similar writer’s readers. Guilt of main character was analyzed very little. More complicated love triangle was in the Michael Bay‘s movie Pearl Harbor too.

Science - fiction: In the time of this movie making was not much possible to display adequacy of complex technology The flight of the spacecraft looks more ridiculous than real. No Space Odyssey this time. However, it is nice to dream and hope that some things will may occur in the future.

Adventure: The story is not very complicated, for adventure or exciting could be considered as robbery scene, flight to the moon, which, however, they lacked the proper emotional charge and better formal design.

Conclusion: 2/10. Sci-fi movie in this administration which looks more grotesque than the reality and director’s idea is not to be funny is not appropriate for today's audience. If you are looking for a better movie of director Fritz Lang, Metropolis dealing with the eternal inequality betwwen rich and poor people is appropriate. If you are looking for an other good old sci-fi movie, I recommend a Trip to the Moon of French surrealist Georges Méliès which though older avoided showing the complicated relationships or similarly complex technology but it bets only on the joy of experience of impossible which suits this movie suits much better.
