Mortegard is a decentralized Kingdom builder being built for the Polygon Network. In the game, players build kingdoms by staking castles and developments, and in turn generate tokenized resources for use in game mechanics or to be sold to other players through the use of a Uniswap Pair.
We are pleased to announce that we now have Castles available for sale to the public. These NFTs are presented as ERL-1155 tokens and are available now on OpenSea on the Polygon Network.
Each of these castles entitles players to 18 tiles of land. Each tile is customizable with development NFTs.
Castles will be able to be staked within our game client in order to gain access to a base generation of tokenized resources(presented at ERC-20 Tokens) as well as the 18 tiles of developable land in which development NFTs can be staked to enhance the generation of a players kingdom.
These tokenized resources are spent to mint new development NFTs, participate in game mechanics, or can be freely traded in liquidity pools presented as Uniswap Pairs.
Haunted Stronghold

Situated in a forsaken, boggy marshland, this castle is filled with the grim wailings of fallen souls that walk its halls. While the lands offer little in the way of game and forage, the spirits that wander the chambers of this castle provide extra mana to its new owner.
Obsidian Fortress

Carved out of a giant shard of Obsidian, this castle grants bonus gold from the trade that the Sha'haiyan citizens in the surrounding lands are known for. The volcanic wastes that surround it lack iron found from metamorphic locations and this players will find themselves searching for mineral veins and digging mineshafts to attain iron or, alternatively, trading for it.
Roughrock Keep

Built before the Iron Decree, this castle is made from rough hewn stone. Defensible, with a lake on one side and impenetrable walls, this sturdy keep also grants a bonus to the iron generation from the deposits in the surround terrain. Wood is scarce to come by, however, as few trees grow in the hills the dwarves once were forced to leave.
Thickroot Enclave

Built deep in jungles that boast trees tall enough to dwarf small mountains with their height, this castle produces extra wood for those that control it and its surrounding lands. However, the elvenkind that dwell within its borders have little interest in Gold, and prefer barter, so rulers with this castle will find themselves desiring to attract new inhabitants and develop hamlets and villages to tax for gold.
Reserve Your Empire
