Today is great! For He has risen!

Ever found yourself in a hole, and looking up to get out only reveals a pinprick of light? Ever notice that blinding searchlight that constantly shows you how to quickly change your situation...but that pinprick of light makes it so much easier to just give up.

All day yesterday I was chanting to myself that "this was the worst day...ever". And God would have none of that.

Each moment I would convince myself it was never getting any better, or that it was all impossible, and God found some way to use His divine crowbar and smack me upside the head. And instead of simply accepting this wisdom He lovingly shares, I grab the crowbar and start bashing myself with it. As if He isn't pointing out something profound, and I should know better.

God knows when we hit this point. And in His mercy He continues to shower down His grace and wisdom. Until our stubbornness fades away. You'll know for sure He's talking directly to you, when He starts sending you messages over and over and over. He knows when we refuse to accept the truth. And so do we.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 NIV
