Solana's coin price exceeded $100 in the wee hours of August 30 just after 0300 UTC. 

It's about to be 11pm here in Houston but I couldn't help throwing together some quick charts in celebration. Solana traded at just over $98 when I published this article. Visual inspection yields two quick observations:

• SOL peaked at about $102 before a quick retreat to $98ish. I'll track the price for as long as I can keep my eyes open to see if the markets push SOL over this point before the sun rises, but I'll probably just review the charts tomorrow morning over a fresh pot of coffee. 
• SOL started 2021 off around a modest $1.80. Today's new all-time-high marks a return of more than 50x since then.
