How You Play Your Hand 

.    In life we are all dealt a deck of cards, a combination of good, bad, neutral and for reasons we may never truly comprehend as to why. 

     For myself, I've always faced the breaking points in my life by reminding myself it's the hand I've been dealt, but just because it's in my cards, doesn't automatically determine the outcome or nature behind the card. It's all in how I choose to play my hand. 

     This may make sense looking at it from a poker ideology or even for my fellow tarot readers for example, the death card in tarot doesn't equal a bad card or that you or someone you know will pass. However it's an ending of a cycle, of a situation, of something that no longer serves you. 

     In life we are all dealt our deck, but our perception of the situations we are placed in, our choices in the end determine the outcome from it all. 

     Some things are simply out of our control, like I was born sick. But it's the way we go about it in life, the way we choose to utilize our free will. Every card we hold carries endless potential for magic.

     So today I leave with a question. How will you play your hand?
