As we are limited to only 3 separate blogs here on Publish0x and my interests vastly exceed this limit, I have had to do some digital housekeeping before I can continue with posting new writings.
To simplify the collection of my content, I have been required to consolidate several subjects into this blog. To this end I have moved some previously published posts and deleted two blogs; Raving About EDC and Fentanyl Fever. Those posts can no longer be found through the original URLs which have been shared on other platforms. However, that content is still here under this blog.
Why Moonbat Dives?
Well, moonbats is an old slur for conspiracy analysts and realists such as myself. When talking about certain subjects, such as the JFK assassination, the risks of vaccination, the harms of processed food, mind control technology, corporate media ownership and false narrative propaganda, etc., some people would attempt to dismiss the subject by saying "Moonbats'" or "Black helicopters!" Because assuming that you know what all the facts are without engaging in any investigation and acting as if you are psychic already knowing what someone else is going to say next is so clever. So clever!
Dives, because this is where I will be sharing some of the information I have uncovered while digging deep in the search results.
If you have read my Fentanyl Fever series, you know that I go deep and hard in making certain that everything is thoroughly referenced with mainstream media, official government and academic sources. I can back up my points with references that are not unsourced and unhinged conspiracy blogs from anonymous kooks. When I don't have a verifiable source, I am careful to say "allegedly" or "I suspect" or "in my opinion" so you know when I am speculating.
I am not an expert and I don't expect you to treat me as an unimpeachable source. I'm not overly concerned if you may require an expert opinion to convince you of the validity of anything I may state in this blog as that is your issue. I supply sources for you to explore in your doubts regarding the accuracy of the knowledge I am sharing. Make use of these resources. I'm simply going to say what I have to say.
Yes, I am rambling a bit. It's an old habit of feeling that I must explain myself in detail because I am so accustomed to receiving the fluoride stare when saying things that are never spoken on television.
I'm here because I am a writer. I am a writer because I have been a lifelong reader. I grew up without a television at home, so I had to read. As an adult I read mostly nonfiction. I read up on the numerous subjects that interest me, then, I write about what I learn.
To go a little deeper in explaining who I am and where I am coming from, I will share with you a story from my youth.
In sixth grade, we were required to present a current events story in front of the class every Friday. The majority of the class got their story from television news. I read the daily newspaper from cover to cover, because I didn't have a TV at home but we did have a subscription to the local newspaper.
It was common for the majority of the class to present the same story. Some of the students would do this intentionally as the teacher would begin to tire of hearing the same story repeatedly and would eventually just ask if anyone had a different story. Sometimes even those who did have a different story would say that they didn't just to get out of having to stand up and read in front of the class.
However, I was the oddball who the teacher knew she could count on to present something different. I was also the student who most often got called on to read aloud to the class from the book during the literature lessons.
This particular week the main story brought in by 28 out of 32 students was the announcement of Johnny Bench retiring from baseball.
Certainly, that was something of a big deal in sports news for a surefire hall of fame player to end his career. However, this was in Anaheim where the local team was the California Angels who play in the American League. Johnny Bench played for the Cincinnati Reds in the National League. None of those students had ever been to a game to see him play. I learned later during recess that a few of their parents were originally from Cincinnati and others were Reds fans only because the Reds had been one of the winningest teams of the previous decade. Many of the students never brought in a report that wasn't sports related as that was the only news segment their parents would watch.
What was my current events report about that week? The skullduggery of the Central Intelligence Agency.
It had been revealed during Congressional hearings that the CIA had sabotaged the copper industry in Chile prior to the September 11th coup that put Pinochet in power. This included the bombing of a copper mine in which a group of miners were killed in cold blood. The CIA had also attempted to plant a naval mine in the harbor of the primary port for the shipping of copper abroad with the intention of sinking a ship at the mouth of the harbor thereby blocking the other ships from getting in or out of the port and crippling the national economy which depended heavily on copper exports.
That was not front page news. It likely didn't get mentioned on any television news broadcast. It was buried in the back pages of the newspaper. But, I was that weird kid who read everything. A few of the other students asked why I cared about that story. I wondered why they cared about Johnny Bench.
Sure, Johnny Bench seems like a nice guy. He had a great baseball career and he is interesting to listen to when he talks about baseball. I like baseball. However, I think there are more important things than baseball or sports in general. I looked for the important stories.
That particular story is important because it proved that the propaganda we were being fed about the USA being the shining city on the hill, the beacon of hope for a free and democratic world, was false. The CIA were not and are not the good guys as portrayed by Hollywood. They were willing to murder innocent civilians for political purposes. That is the definition of terrorism.
I suppose I should mention that at that point in my life I wanted to be in the CIA. I wanted to go through sniper and spycraft training to become an assassin. No kidding. I was a bit misanthropic but I was and still am patriotic. I wanted to make the world safe by taking out the bad guys. This is why I was interested in reading everything I could find about the CIA, FBI, and other alphabet soup organizations. By the time I reached the age for recruitment, I had learned that there are almost never any good guys in the true story.
I would go on to write semester reports on MK-ULTRA and COINTELPRO, though the information available at that time was limited. There was no public internet yet. I had to use the card catalog and microfiche at the library.
It's this sort of experience and research which informs and shapes who I am today. Now you know why I am writing about the things that will be published in this blog and why I named it Moonbat Dives.
If this is your first time reading my content, I hope that you will join me on this journey to awareness through self-directed education. If you find enjoyment or enlightenment in my posts, please, share the links with your friends and loved ones on whatever other social media platforms you utilize.
To those who have been subscribed to my content and waiting for me to publish new posts, thank you for your patience. I have been working on some long posts. I put a lot of care and effort into my content before I publish. I want to get it right. I would rather be accurate than be quick to publish. I respect your time and attention too much to be lazy and release low quality content simply for the sake of producing content. That's not to say I won't be publishing some short pieces, but I have to satisfy my own high standards for myself even for the quick hits.
Thank you for your time and attention. May your mind expand farther and faster than your belly. Moonbats, away!
