- so I've been taking trips down the local recycling centre as of late finally sorting through all the stuff I've been meaning to throw away for months and I've noticed these pop up shops appearing everywhere and with a little research I have found an absolute treasure and a fine way to save/make a fair few quid by taking advantage. For instance you can now buy telly from a site in the surrey area fully pat tested and with a sort of "waranty" as in if it breaks bring it back and we will refund you. I picked myself up a 55 inch led telly for 35 pound after a little bartering and then procedded to sell my old one for 60 pound the same day via social media. There is no cap on how many you can buy and as I say its a no brained checking out online this particular model second hand would still set me back 100 pounds at least. Now onto the good stuff..... antiques. Well you don't need to be a genius to work out if something looks old or not and you can pick up enough to fill your boot for 20 quid and as i say very open to barter these places. Kids bikes, lawn mowers, strimmers...have seen a few stihls knocking about and normally you'll triple your money if your looking to sell on.even household furniture there is tonnes of it. Just a word of advice avoid the weekends as the local delboys tend to sit out front like vultures and get the good stuff as it comes in...anybody into records? Well ive seen all sorts from pink Floyd first presses to Disney all time favourite songs all for you guessed....pennies this is all thrown away so as i say prices are very open to negotiation as it is all free money to the tip so anybody looking for a bargain a cheap way to kit out their house or an extra income even the stuff in there is very good quality better than some shops even and also quite regularly a rare find as the staff don't tend to know what is worth what. So point of this post is go check it out you won't be disappointed and if you know what your looking for youl even be beyond impressed....
