Monetary flaws or design?

We are at a tipping point where the global economy is shut down and countries around the world are flooded with dollars of which the effects are hidden under the guise of zero currency velocity. The expansion of the money supply has long correlated to asset inflation and the long slow grinding of bond yields toward the zero bound since the 70’s. Is it merely a coincidence that the effects of these policies result in those closest to the money owning a bigger slice? Or is there a plan to own it all.
