OXLC - Oxford Lane Capital
Oxford Lane Capital is considered by many to be a high risk investment with a huge dividend yield of nearly 10 %.
I decided to just take the risk and buy some. So on the 30th June 2020 I brought it for $3.97 a share. I was not expecting much out of it. To be honest I was expecting it's value to drop. I am still holding and since June 2020 I have been receiving a monthly dividend. To offset what I thought would be a loss on a junk I used the dividends to purchase other stocks.
To my amazement it just keeps increasing in value. It is now worth $7.68 the value has increased by 86.38 %.
So sometimes the risky junk does pay off in the long term. It exceeded all my expectations. In fact I was not expecting much from it.
