Getting a passport by investment

It is possible to get citizenship by investment and quite a few countries offer the opportunity. The amount of investment does vairy a lot. The lowest investment that I am aware of is $100k upto 2.5 million USD. Much cheaper options may be available but, I would be more sceptical and it is likekly to have very limited options for international travel. Some countries allow you to buy real estate so you could potentially sell the real estate after a certain amount of time. 

Unfair 

I do think that it is very unfair that anyone who has sufficient means can litteraly  buy, citizenship in other countries. When they probably only want it to avoid paying taxes. These people generally would not have any issues moving and living anywhere in the world. But, people who do actually need another citizenship for what ever reason can not really afford it. People fleeing their country due to war or economical reasons do not generally this option.

Citizenship by investment programs do change some countries stop doing it and others start offering it. If this is an option you should choose always do research and choose a trust worthy company or do it directly if possible.
