Baelo Claudia was a Roman town in Hispania. It was abandoned by the 6th century. It is located in the village of Bolonia in Cádiz, Andalucía, España. 

It has a basic museum and the site is well worth a visit entry is free for people from the Eurpean Community. Their is plenty of free  parking.

The village of Bolonia is touristic but, mostly Spanish tourists.

A lot of foreiners are not aware of the site. It is close to Costa Del Sol and tourists who want to actually see something cultural should go.
