Since I was a little child, I always was fascinated by languages.
Whenever I hear a strange word, I feel the need to know its meaning and want to discover which language is it.
In addition, learning a new language opens new worlds to you, you get to know other people, cultures, traditions and so on...

Furthermore, my country is multilingual, at school aside the native language which is Arabic, we learn one basic foreign language and a second one as knowledge and these two are mostly French and English.
I was among the students who learned French as a basic foreign language, but I always loved English, I understood it in some way even before I learned it, in high-school, I was able to read well only because I watched TV and listened to music, my teacher said you are kidding right? you know English, I said no it's my first time learning it, but I read so perfectly.
Few years after high-school I fell in love with the Italian language, it sounded so musical, romantic, fascinating, so I decided to learn it.
I bought a book with audio CDs and wrote down remarks and studied every day for a few years. Later on I got to know a lot of italian people with whom I practiced it for so long.
Afterwords, I decided to learn Spanish, in this period I found a beautiful app called Duolingo which helped me a lot in learning many languages and in reviewing the ones I already know. I made a good beginning but the excitement didn't last long, I found the pronunciation a little bit hard in some way, then I quit.
But it will be in my future goals.
Recently, since I enjoy TV series, I discovered the Turkish ones in which I fell in love, so as usual my curiosity arise and I started to learn Turkish, it was a very different, exciting and challenging language, I love it and I began to study it and I still am, it is my fifth language can you believe it!!!
I want to say I am two languages away from achieving my goal.
I will reach it one day I am sure...

The most important thing if you are interested in learning a language in my opinion is the will to learn a new language and the consistency.
And I would like to share with you my way in fast learning:
1- You have to find your interest subject, for example I love music so I start by listening to music in the new language I am learning, this way I will get used to it, to the pronunciation, to the whole atmosphere.
I print out the words and little by little aside with the app or the book you will be able to speak, read and write simple sentences, and later on you will be able to understand all.
If you like fashion, sports or movies for example, start from that field and so on...
2 - You have to write down everything, if you don't write you will soon forget and all your efforts will be gone. Writing helps you remember the words, the way they are written and to get familiar with the language.
3- You have to be consistent and always revise what you wrote, even if for 15 minutes a day which will keep your memory fresh and always ready to learn more.
After following these simple steps, little by little you will find yourself able to speak a new language.

Keep learning and open yourself to new worlds, you will never know what you might find.
