For today, I'm going to talk about the the movie version of Snowpiercer, directed by Bong Joon Ho, and why you should watch the movie.
Wilford: Curtis, everyone has their preordained position, and everyone is in their place except you.
Curtis: That's what people in the best place say to the people in the worst place.
-Snowpiercer (2013)
The story is set in a future in which the world is frozen due to a failed climate-change experiment and the only ones who are living are those aboard the Snowpiercer, the only train that travels the globe. Curtis, played by actor Chris Evans, alongside his lower-class folks, plans and commits a revolution set to change the current class system.

My Review:
To avoid any spoilers, I will not include too much detail that might spill the storyline. However, it appears to be realistic as to how social hierarchy can still exist in a place considered to be humanity's last hope. I also loved the idea how they have built, literally, a community inside a train. All I can say is that the ones behind this movie are critical at every detail shown from the film.
If there is one thing I didn't like about the film, it would be that I found it pretty fast-paced. Well, it might be because they had to fit in the whole story into 2 hours when they could've expressed the story more. Regardless, this film is definitely worth watching.
By the way, Snowpiercer is adapted into a television series just released this year. The concept of Snowpiercer revolving around the globe stays but that's the only thing they're similar at. It's like a story reimagined in which you get new characters, new settings, and more storyline.
