Mobile mining - have you something to loose on it?
Many people I encountered is rather skeptical about projects who starts up their project with mobile mining to mint their token. My question is why, why not take a chance when it's free, draws nothing i battery and next to nothing in internet and in our modern society today next to everyone has unlimited use of internet. A few of this projects are quiet successful and will in my eyes have a bright future. I will go thru the tokens you can mine on mobile for free that I think is acutely worth doing, so let's go no time to waste!
Pi Network
Pi Network is the project that has come furthers with over 17 million followers minting Pi's everyday. The nodes are in phase 2 testing on their testnet. I'm actually one of many being tested for being a node on Pi's mainnet when it launches in the end of this year if everything goes as planned. You have been able to mine Pi for over a year now and the project has evolved all the time in steps.
They launched a second app a few month ago this app is the wallet their you will store your Pi in, the app is called Pi browser this because as it sounds has a included browser. It also has a brainstorm section for developing ides and also a chat that is divided in languages, this so you feel comfortable speaking to others speaking your language.
The infrastructure of Pi Networks mining app is easy to use and very professional and serious in it's approach. Pi's blockchain will be built on nodes as many other projects there every node has the entire blockchain, so if one node behaves bad or out of control their is many other nodes with is whole blockchain ready to confirm the right transactions. Pi Network also has a open white papper for you to read.
Are You Still Able To Mine Pi? Is It Decentralized? The Team?
You are able to mine Pi's right now, of course with a mining speed lower because of the halvings that has taken place and by that lowered the reward of the mining. The mining speed is also relaying on how many you got in your security circle to secure the network and how many is online mining. This protocol is easy to understand once inside exploring the app. You most have a invite code for now to be able to access the app and start the mining process and Pi has come out with information saying in the next halving or the halving after that new members won't be able to mine Pi.
This project I'm a huge believer in. The team consists of two Stanford graduates and one of them has had the first class on Stanford about decentralized applications and has also been creating a framework for writing smart contracts. The team seems really solid! They are in a pursuit of developing a true decentralized cryptocurrency that relaying on it's users developing different applications and instrument to the network.
The users has central role in the network and also the networks developments to right goals. They have sandbox to try out different applications and settings. From what I can see everybody that wants to be a part of this can easy be a part of it.

Alpha Network
Alpha network, works in a similar way as Pi Network when it comes to how you secure the Network. Alpha mining haven't come nearly as long as Pi Network in their development and as for now quite a high mining speed. The infrastructure of the app, the settings, choices almost everything isn't nearly as developed as Pi. But Alpha Network haven't been around as long as Pi network and are in a much earlier state. Well we will see how the further developments looks like.
One smart and fun function they has is that every 30 minutes you can open a chest that's include different prices it could be higher mining speed for limited time or some Alpha coins. You can claim the prize as it is or you can watch a advertisement for 30 seconds and get your prize X3.
Project And White Papper

Back to basics! They have a open white papper there they explain the different phases of the project. One important thing for those feeling interested in mining Alpha coins is that In phase 3 mining will be closed. They have also discovered problems around BTC and ETH that excludes small players in the game and that's something they focus on and they have a solution for this described in the white papper.
