I have a long history with ZKitty DAO, being not only an OG in the community but also being privileged to be nice and early in one of the projects that will shake the Cryptoverse.
The story so far was already covered, with minting a bunch of ZKitty NFTs and making sure I will be eligible for a plethora of airdrops! Here's the tl;dr for those joining to late!
The ZKitty are living on Planet Paws, and will bring the airdrops to the masses! There are 5333 cute collectible friends on zkSync, each of them making the holder eligible to the Automated Airdrop Farming Service! The Automated Service helps normies compete with whales, and secure a share of airdrops they would not be able to tackle due to lack of time or funds. The farms are at full power and Zegen is watching the activity!
Element is the marketplace with an integrated reward system for selling or buying NFTs! Users earn 20 $ELE reward for each referral, and gas allowance is shared by both! This makes NFT trading cheaper for everyone, and creates a dynamic marketplace. Element Market is also the place where you can swipe the floor for ZKitty NFTs!
The ZKitty frens' landed on Element and took the market by storm! Minted six furry companions and got ready for more exiting stuff! The telegram bot was launched and staked them since day one.
I am happy I have an astronaut ZKitty, as this is the iconic look we've been used with! I like the zombie cat but not as much as the GM meh Kitty! Are six cats enough? Not for me!
Six kittyz where not enough, and got another couple when the $ZKITTY token was announced. I staked eight NFTs in the telegram bot and earned 5.2 $ZKitty tokens per day per NFT.
I let the felines farm the tokens and claimed all when the 90 days vesting period ended. Best part of the claiming process? It used LayerZero for the claim and the tokens where delivered automatically on Ethereum mainnet. Why is this important? Because this transaction could be a tick box for the future and upcoming LayerZero airdrop!
The ZKitty NFTs are farming airdrops for me while I chill! I don't need to waste my time chasing stuff and doing countless transactions. The first airdrop that came from holding the NFTs was the very own $ZKITTY tokens.
I claimed them after the 90 days vesting period ended, and 3750 $ZKITTY tokens landed in my wallet. We are not yet out of the bear market, and those tokens are valued at 200 USD! Just wait to see the growth will start, and when the NFT holders will start getting their fair share of airdrop bounties!
What's next? Solana mints and even more airdrops to chase up. Meanwhile, the ZDogs were up for minting on zkSync and I didn't wanted to miss the chance to add a woof-woof in the house.
I can say this mint was fully covered by the $ZKITTY tokens I farmed. I didn't sell ... don't worry! I am just saying it was fine to spend $102 USDC for a brand new doggy! I hold $ZKITTY tokens to cover two mints but I will stick to one!
Again... the mint was done through LayerZero contracts, and this could lead to another airdrop. If this happens, will go straight into my account... but ZKitty DAO will have the merit of facilitating it!
Paid on Optimism and it landed on zkSync... the blockchain evolution is amazing! The ZDog #2354 looked quite rare, just after seeing that rainbow unicorn thingy and the Hugh Hefner robe... so I went to check the stats.
I was right about the ZDog properties, as that purple bath robe trait has a 4% chance. The Rainbow Horn has an even lower chance, at only 2%, and that frowny mouth and winky eyes are making the combo even special.
