Most virtual land NFTs sell you a piece of a digital map but TERA is trying something different. There are 3,333 parcels, and each one is a real position in a live multiplayer 3-D world.
You can explore it, build on it and eventually develop it. TERA plans to build a treasury of real-resource-backed stock tokens, covering six areas:

Your parcel's resource doesn't determine what you earn. All six resources go into one shared treasury pot and your parcel can earn based on rarity and land level!
The stocks generate returns, and the holder portion of those earnings is distributed across signed parcels according to rarity and upgrades
So a rare, developed parcel gets a larger share of the earnings than a basic one. There are six rarity tiers, from Drift at 1× all the way to Singularity at 12×.
Only 8 Singularities will ever exist and that means rarity actually matters economically rather than simply being a cosmetic trait.
The earnings don't just disappear into your wallet every day. Once you sign the Land Deed, earnings accumulate inside the parcel.
Think of it like rent building up inside a safe attached to the property. Sell the land and that accumulated balance travels with it. Buy a parcel and you can see what has already accumulated before you buy.
Claim the earnings whenever you want... the land stays yours. There is another interesting mechanism too. Signing a deed permanently burns $TERA.
No locking, no renewal, no expiry.. and no unsigning. The exact signing amount is still to be announced, but every signed parcel permanently removes $TERA from supply.
The planned economics are also important: trading fees, the 5% resale royalty and land upgrades feed the treasury, with up to 70% planned for holders and the remainder supporting the project.
The earnings system is planned, not live yet. The multiplayer world and land experience work today, but the resource treasury, stock earnings and deed-based distribution still need to be built and launched.
Own a piece of a virtual world → develop the land → connect it to a real-resource treasury → let the assets generate earnings → accumulate those earnings inside the property.
