I knew Brighton Will Go Limitless Against Arsenal

Apparently I Knew Brighton Would Smash Arsenal! Prediction markets have taught me many things. Mostly that I know absolutely nothing.

Sports are always entertaining and with added drama! There’s something about prediction markets that makes watching sport a completely different experience.

Here it is! I said it! Prediction Markets Are Becoming My Favorite Way to Watch Sports! It gives that extra kick when the result goes your way!

I’ve been spending quite a bit of time on Limitless lately, jumping between different markets and testing out strategies across sports, and honestly, I’ve been having a lot of fun with it.

But every now and then, you actually do your homework, make a prediction, watch the match unfold and suddenly feel like the smartest man alive.

That happened with Brighton vs Arsenal. I genuinely expected Brighton to smash Arsenal. And before anyone asks… YES, I HAVE PROOF. 😂

The screenshot exists. The prediction exists. The receipts are safely stored for future generations. This is why I enjoy prediction markets on Limitless

Secured a 375% ROI and now I feel sorry I had only $50 on this event! Was 3-0 but the match was clearly one sided... was sure the gunners will crack!

Limitless makes you look at sports slightly differently. You can't just look at the names and think Arsenal are Arsenals so easy win... so you have to dig a little deeper.

Tennis is where this gets hotter! I've been spending quite a bit of time on tennis markets lately, especially during the US hard-court season.

And I've started to realise that tennis can sometimes feel surprisingly predictable if you actually do the research. Not predictable as in “free money”, obviously.

Nothing in sports is free money.,, but there are so many variables you can actually investigate. Recent form, surface, previous matches and the quality of opponents.

Head-to-head matters as some players can use moral and history to mess with the opponents! Travel as well and how long the previous match lasted!

Whether someone has just played a three-hour battle, whether they're coming back the next day, or whether they're carrying momentum.

Perhaps most importantly of all is fatigue! Mannarino is old but still fresh in the first rounds, Andrade and Svajda are young guns ... so great expectations!

A player can be the better player on paper and still be a completely different proposition after spending three hours on court the previous day.

There are now prediction models that explicitly include factors such as Elo, surface strength, recent form, fatigue, head-to-head records and market prices when estimating tennis win probabilities.

That doesn't mean the model knows the future... it means there are measurable things worth considering before clicking BUY.

This is where football gives you a slightly different puzzle. Before Brighton played Arsenal, the Gunners had started the season brilliantly and were chasing an eighth consecutive win in all competitions.

Brighton didn't seem particularly interested in that storyline. They pressed Arsenal relentlessly, disrupted their build-up and eventually won 3–0 at the Amex.

Brighton created problems from the beginning, scored through Pascal Groß and Charalampos Kostoulas before half-time, then Chema Andrés made it three shortly after the break.

I took the win and cascade it into tennis, after doing the research! That 407% ROI on Putintseva is not by chance... I knew Bencic struggles after an injury!

On Limitless the fun isn't simply picking a team... it's trying to understand why the market might be wrong. Sometimes the obvious favourite really is the obvious favourite.

Sometimes a player is carrying fatigue, sometimes a team has travelled, or sometimes the schedule is brutal. Pick wisely your wildcard!

The tactical matchup matters more than the badge. This is why I like Limitless! Prediction markets turn watching sport into something much more analytical.

I'm looking at form. I'm checking fatigue. I'm watching surfaces in tennis. I'm looking at schedules and always checking the recent performances.

Then I'm trying to work out whether the market price actually makes sense. Of course, you can still get absolutely wrecked... but not because you went full degen!

Must flex it up because once I managed to be number one on the Limitless PnL leaderboard, with a beautiful $6k inprofits. Lost half the next day but it doesn't matter!
