Yesterday I received this lovely email, announcing me that I won the Bronze Medal at the Cake DeFi Olympic Bake-Off and $50 worth of $DFI was added in my account. But what is the Olympic Bake-Off and can I earn more by winning more medals?
The Olympic Bake-Off promotional campaign celebrates the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and the CakeDeFi bakers. The campaign started on the 22nd of July and was supposed to end on the 8th of August but ... will be extended until 13th of August. Participants have extra days to earn up to $2000 in rewards.
Until the 13th of August, every CakeDeFi baker have the opportunity to earn enhanced bonuses. The reward for each successful referral was upgraded to $50 worth of $DFI. The referred user will also receive $50 worth of $DFI after competing the KYC and after a deposit of $50 in crypto. The bonus will be added in the Freezer for 180 days, auto-compounding the rewards.
But the Olympic spirit requires competition, and this is why bakers will compete to earn up to $750 as additional bonuses, added straight into the account. This bonuses are called Bake-Off medal, which are earned by referring new users to CakeDeFi. Up to date, there are only 563 winners in the promotional campaign, 392 Bronze Medals (2 referrals), 116 Silver Medals (5 referrals), 53 Gold Medals (10 referrals) and only 2 World Record Bakers (50 referrals).
