A few months ago, I went with some friends at the Namaste wall, a climbing spot in Kolob Canyons just right outside of Zion.
While we were not able to climb due to the wet rock, we were able to enjoy beautiful scenery without no one around us, unlike Zion, just a bunch of friends enjoying the nature and hiking together.
This spot is not really well know, so it is very wild and authentic, lots a beautiful red rocks, shadows and since it’s a canyon, it’s very quiet.
While I really enjoy Zion and Bryce Canyon, Kolob Canyon and it’s multitude of spots like this won my heart. It is a luxury to be alone while hiking, not seeing any other human in sight is very resourceful and makes you enjoy even more.
I’ll let you with some picture that I took there. And if you decide one day to visit this beautiful place, please, leave no trace. Take your trash with you and respect this place.
