Short Story Challenge - Day 8

As I promised, this month I will do another writing challenge, this time the focus will be on storytelling, and I will try to immortalize a fragment of life, a short story about something that made me wonder, being that an idea or a peek into a stranger's life. Enjoy!

Random act of kindness (14.11.2022)

Once upon a time, probably in 1929, in Cairo, I noticed an angel behind a person, using his wings to create a gentle breeze, so that the old man would not be too bothered by the scorching heat. A bit surprised, I asked my Master:

-Master, why is that angel doing such an insignificant feat?

-Because, my dear, there is no big good deed or small good deed. Everything has the same importance in the eyes of God.

Took me 95 years to learn that lesson.
