Even in the middle of the crowds,

I feel alone,

shimmering away, in some kind

of alternate reality.

feeling alone with others

is worst

than feeling alone with yourself.

Dissociation by association,

I have this void, deep inside my heart.

It was supposed to bring me close to God,

or make me a God,

but that happened so long ago.

I forgot.
