Metal adds value to society

Metal music provides a safe community that embraces the dark side of human consciousness by incorporating things like politics, religion, violence, heartbreak, anger, mental illness, depression, suicide and many other things through the lyrics of their songs. I believe that the metal community loves discussing these subjects, and is always open to having deep conversations on any of these issues that might be considered as taboo, or simply too extreme for people that enjoy main stream music.
