When I initially read The Richest Man in Babylon I did not enjoy the book. I found it to be somewhat repetitive and the concepts seemed, to me, to be too obvious to be useful. However from my perspective as a student of Metaphysics I have come to know that universal truths and laws have the quality of being simple in concept but difficult to master. The level of mind that is required to be wealthy is the superconscious one. The knowledge that real value is a product of the level of manifestation of wealth by the quality of thought combined with physical knowledge put into action. The fruit of labor can be measured in dollars or as the book uses a coin satchel.
The book uses terms such as paying yourself first for saving money. This term makes sense in the terms that you could apply to think of any expenses that detract from what you earn to you working or being a slave laboring for whomever you are paying money to. If I think about that more it makes a lot of sense. Every time I use my money to exchange I am saying to another: “Here is the product of my labor I worked for this value, does this universal symbol of wealth work for you?” Money is the condensed version of the end result of ideas manifested and then manufactured into the physical world, the byproduct of intuitive thought and applied reasoning working together for the process of creation.
What I think could be updated in this sense is how we have treated money since the time of the author’s penship. We have abused money over the last 60 years of this countries existence. The invention, implementation, and ever-increasing insidious practices of a credit-based system have created a world that is debased of its original value. This has occurred to such an outrageous degree that the overall effect is the reversal of what wealth really is. Wealth comes from the term for wellness. The debt-based system that has come about as a result of capitalism’s ever-increasing greed is a sickness that results in what sickness does to all entities with enough ignorance and that is that it collapses them.

I believe in the intrinsic value of an object as well as its useful one. The laws of the Universe do not play well with indebtedness, although this is a system that has served as a learning process for humanity in the way of the old world where the illusion was stronger for a time than truth. In the time we exist in now where the veil which shrouds absolute truth is thinner than it has been in ages, the truth has now overcome the illusion. A credit card does not value, a credit score does not value, these types of non-assets are promissory. They exist as no more than an I.O.U. notice to yourself, Yet many institutions are happy to do business with those who make promises instead of exchanging the results of trading my value, for your value. When you use a system that is based on credit Credit you are abusing your money, you are making a slave of your money, you are treating your money with cruelty and doing it an injustice. The shortsightedness of this ignorant process is the result of improper reasoning and the opposite of what the character Arkad says is the way to produce wealth.
One of the best ways to accrue long-term wealth is to: “Seek gainful employment for your money.” This is putting your money to work for you. Banks once offered competitive interest rates that allowed money to return a small share as a result of being lent out to others for the purpose of furthering reputable business and ideas that foresaw needs. However, in recent times of hardship, government institutions as well as traditional banks have increasingly frozen and cut interest rates well below even the measly return of 1%. The wealthiest individuals and corporations showing the rest of the lower classes that- even the symbol which represents the degree of the egregious wealth gap between wealthy and poor. The banks have now decreed: “We will return to you less than that symbol, we will give back less than that tiny 1% symbol which represents our total dominance of finances!” This is what could be called the ultimate form of greed in that the magnitude of the wealth gap of the 99% vs. the 1% was not a sufficient return on what we loaned to the banks. This is the tipping point. This is the breaking point. It is well past the time that any rational individual would continue to do business with organizations that no longer serve, but rather even regularly punish the working class for being poor. This is the abuse of the individual from which your power comes and we should in no way agree to do business on these terms. We as people of a rational mind, and those who know the purpose of wealth should take our prosperity and transfer our wealth into more capable hands. Elevating our income towards forms of currency that are both more aligned with, and a better representation of what Richness is, it’s the highest form really represents, which is in alignment with the universal laws of Abundance and Prosperity.

Bitcoin is Digital Gold.
I Believe in Bitcoin, and I am willing to bet on its future. Bitcoin was only the first cryptocurrency but what it represented was the power to transform the entire future of both money and how business is conducted on a global scale. It is the first new asset class to come about in over 100 years, besides the rise of computers. Rather, It is its own technology, the application of technological innovation applied to money itself. Just take a look at how successful Silicon Valley is and you can understand the intrinsic value of that kind of innovative thinking. It cannot be forged, it is designed in such a way that it will only become scarcer as time goes on, it can be transferred all over the world in seconds. It is a truly distributed ledger that makes banking obsolete. In addition to going through massive periods of gains as well as losses, it is an asset class that allows any individual to receive back interest rates which are far greater than any traditional bank. Historically it has subsequently hit larger and larger all-time highs as individuals who have yet to make the step into understanding it, cannot help but see it has to have value. It was designed in the wake of the economic crisis of 2008 as a solution to economic collapse and I believe it will inevitably make paper money as obsolete as horses are now to cars. I mean, every once in a while you do see a person riding one in certain places. Remember “Men of action are favored by the Goddess of luck.” It does no good to remain with a system that no longer serves you.

We cannot solve the problems with the same level of thinking from which they were created. Believe in the future of money now. One of the most important lessons from The Richest Man in Babylon is to Never take on debt. The beautiful thing to me about cryptocurrency is that it is a debt-free system. You either Have a Bitcoin or you don’t, there’s no such thing as a negative bitcoin. This is the truth of the matter, traditional systems of money are no longer based on gold they are based on faith in an ever failing economic system. The ledger of Bitcoin cannot be hacked or forged bitcoin is backed by the people who use it and the math it operates upon. The concept of smart contracts will streamline every system of trust there is in the world. Crypto is here and it is undeniably better suited to our face-paced world than any other current technology. In conclusion, if you want to be rich, bet on the future, not the past, bet on freedom not debt, bet on Bitcoin and let paper money be used by people who wish to be enslaved by it, Bitcoin is the currency of the one who is a Master of their finance.
Bitcoin = The Richest Man of the Future World.
