Immanifest: Respect for Ancient Abrahamic Beliefs

After a bit of a mental health break I have returned. Am I sane am I insane? Well that isn't really my concern. My concern is awesome symphonic music. Thanks to Spotify I found out about this band called Immanifest and it's first E.P. entitled Qliphotic. The music is incredibly advanced technique-wise. To write some lyrics about ancient mysticism is certainly an interesting subject which is exactly what the first release covers. Lyrics aside the music is quite aetheric and upon listening my negative thoughts clear immediately. No wonder, the lyrics are not regarding negativity they are regarding peace amidst the Twilight (evidence below).

Recognizing that Idols such as Daath distract our reverence for the world we are given a very interesting and serene topic to hear via a percussive vocal over the aetheric augury of melodic beauty evident in the work of the composer/s and musicianship. After hearing this track once I was reminded of how amazing music can be as a source of calming in a world of negative news. The message is clearly regarding the abolition of egoic apologetics inherent when debates of control take place regarding a human focal point. In layman's terms: when people start to disrespect their leaders because the leaders are also human, instead of show their leaders respect and graciousness which good leaders always show their subjects unconditionally. No matter what kind of leader (royal or political), the leader understands that the creator is above them and their people, otherwise how could there be an order to the Cosmos? Rather than speaking of a hatred for humanity these lyrics note that it's okay to be imperfect. What matters is recognizing and permiting one to wonder how to do better.

Referring to this genre as black metal is interesting as really it's not about colours; rather it's about sounds. Thus, I will not refer to any genre by a colour, rather as a symphonic surge or movement. Symphonic music is symphonic regardless. As well symphonic metal(?) is simply classical music played on electric instruments. I'll be introducing you to one more track from this group in a genre now known as Electro-Symphonic Metal.

There was quite a gap of time between this first release and the follow up album. Qliphotic was released in 2010 (according to YouTube Music) and there the silence remained until 2019 when a follow up immerged. This follow up acheived what is very difficult to acheived as a composer: to release an aurally intrinsic release that stands up to the first release.

There can be no wonder it took a lot of time; creating a piece of music can have all sorts of unnecessary barriers that stems from a lack of respect for art itself. Regardless "the proof is in the pudding" and Macrobial is an actual full album that picks up aurally and vocally right where it's predecessor left us lucky few listeners, and perhaps any of those interested enough to read these ramblings about art and digital ownership.

To stay on topic though: my favourite track is entitled Spirits of Old. The first track is entitled "Energy Weapons Formed Against Us" so this would be interpreted as: rather than dwell on negative thoughts one can listen to beautiful notes, dwelling on negative thoughts breeds negative actions, being aware and creating instead of destroying is a much better use of energy. The movement of the track itself speaks of this truth. Spirits of Old had no lyrics posted, however I listen to music for the notes (who doesn't?) and it is full of great arpeggios and syncopation throughout. Brought forth is a synergy of "Djent" rhythmic strings from the twin guitars amidst wave-like ascensions of the melodic minor accompanied by accidentals; gravity (declared once again) manifests (haha couldn't resist) as a diminished descension (tonal theory reference to diminished existential gravity) back to the tonic. What a piece of music. I hope there starts to be instrumental versions of this release, it's truly awesome.

Be aware and be blessed,

Sigma

Edit: Updated the imagery to a non-faustian variety. This isn't about Bitcoin. A blog following the development of NFTs adoption in the Metal community. For example, like this blog, Spotify is a joke for any musician wanting to live off their art. What it is good for is finding out about different music of similar vatieties. Fiscally it barely funds the whiskey for your coffee. Putting whiskey in coffee makes little sense, letting artists maintain ownership digitally sure does though.
