This week's battle challenge focuses on the Phantasm:

Many of the creatures of Mortis are terrifying and mysterious, even to the Dark Eternals themselves. When the Dark Tzar convinced him so many years ago to tamper with the rules of death, the Lord of Darkness never knew the true scope of the multitude of terrors he would be unleashing forever onto the Splinterlands. The approach of a Phantasm is never expected. They are always presumed to be a figment of their victim's imagination, until the pain begins. The pain is very real.

Card

This is a BEAST of a card - a tank with high health, high speed, decent damage and the flying ability to evade attacks. Phantasm is very versatile card and currently on the market for a steal of a price of $0.01. I use Phantasm in various positions on the battlefield. 

Battle

I was worried when the battle started as the opponent I was up against was playing with upgraded cards. I used phantasm as the lead tank. His role was to do upfront damage and absorb damage from the opponent lvl 4. Goblin Mech. Due to phantasm's high health pool, he took alot of the damage and allowed my range and magic cards to do range and magic damage. Full Battle Replay
