Just a few words

At the moment you will find a lot of hands on guides and how tow's and so on. All about SwapSpace. Simple said SwapSpace is platform where you can exchange many different Tokens without filling out a KYC. This is a big advantage because, there are many exchanges out there where you as a user are required to prove your identity. And yes KYC stands for Know Your Customer. #

But to be clear, SwapSpace is NOT an exchange it is own portal which provides the best exchange rates. So how does it look like. FIrst of all it has a clean landing page which is well designed and you find all the Buzz Words on it. Simple, Save , best rates etc... 

I love step2, this is the reason i mentioned that. As you can see the sentence we do magic. But please also mention, that some of the pairs need an KYC authentication. Which is a little bid against my introduction words a few lines above. But in the end, I have not found a pair which needs an KYC. To be fair I only tried to exchange 2 different coin pairs. This means there is a possibility that it is possible that you need an additional step to successfully finalize your transaction, or in other words finalize your swap.

Simple, Save, Best Rates - Let`s do a cross check

Ok, let`s do the crosscheck. First of all i select a pair which is not so common. I used  Stellar (XLM) und Polkadot (DOT)

As you can see i "used" 1 XLM to evaluate the DOT exchange rate. Sounds good or? To be honest i have no idea what the exchange rate between DOT and XLM is at the moment. SO what can we do. 1.) We can trust the suggested exchange or. we can do our own research. And this my friends is my preferred way. But how can i do that ?  If you are new in Crypto you should check some of the trusted sources. And I am a big fan of COINGECKO. I checked the site and here are the results of the exchange rates.

Here are the results

• Coingecko:  1 XLM gives 0.01944 DOT
• SwapSpace: 1 XLM gives 0.01945

You may ask, why Coingecko offers a lower exchange rate and the answer is simple. The prices will always differ a little bid, because Coingecko is an aggregation of a lot of prices from the cryptoworld. Also SwapSpace is using it`s own prices. And in the end i mean where is the difference. In my example it is 0.00001 difference. I think this is comparing the price it is at the moment 0.00013 USD. :-) So what else...

Using the Exchange feature

No i will not do a lot of screenshots and tell you how it will work. You will find a lot of hands on in the internet or here on publishx. I want to focus on some important things. First of all, select your pair, do your research and so on. But then you have to enter your addresses. 

1.) You need a minimum to transfer. Which is logical, because you have to pay fees. As always :-) 

The best thing is that you can try and figure out how much you need and how much you will get. Next step and this is an important one. Yes another important one, please give your refund address. Yes it is optional. But remember what is happening, when there is something going wrong. Yes sometimes there is an errors. I had this also a few days again when i changes on UNISWAP. Ups..  Ok but as you can see it doesn`t matter which platform you use errors can happen. Like car accidents..  they are unexpected. So be prepared.

As you can see it is up to you to enter your refund address. I leave it to you, i know what i would do. And as always this is no financial advise please do your own research and try and learn. It is like driving a car :-) We both understand us.

Final thougths:

So what to say. What i like is that you can swap things from A to B on real time. If something goes wrong you can expect the refund of your asset when you have filled out the refund address. TO be honest i have not found an error in my transaction but i have reviewed the comments on Trustpilot which are ok at the moment.  For me i would give it a try. This is the reason why i use SwapSpace .. and you ?
