Berkeley, California: Facebook has begun testing a new option under which you can select a specific circle to show your posts and storage, or even keep it private. Similarly, instead of all links, you will be able to post to a specific group.

According to Facebook, this option can also be used in Messenger whether it is close to your friends or family. On this option, analyst Manchin Wong has stated that this feature offers several options on the 'Favorites' list. You can also create a list of favorites and add people to it and exclude them.

Analysts said that this option was made by the influence of Instagram, which already has a 'close friend' feature. Instagram announced this option in December last year.

Although Facebook has not officially announced its release, it will help brands and companies reach their target audience. A similar option has been provided by Facebook in the form of 'Top Fans' which can still be seen.

• The trial is underway within the Facebook company, though no explicit statement has been made nor a press release has been issued, but by mid-2020, Facebook will surely offer several sharing options.
