Undying Flame

By MatTehCat | MatTehCat's Blogs | 5 Feb 2020

Universal Flame and Light; Sovereign, Majestic,

And Divine Blaze beyond all imagination;

Your faces and names exceed Man’s arithmetic:

Without you, all would be less than nothing.

From you, all things are made, and by you, all things shaped;

The Celestial Bodies, by your hand, are set

Into motion; deed, Good or Bad, consecrated:

You enlighten all, creating Shadow.

Without your grace, Beast, Madness, and Darkness are not;

The realm of three, nonexistent without your being;

What shall and shall not be, the will of no decree:

For in you, all things are reasoned to be.

You are the Flame of all Flames; that which can take shape

Without shape; the Formless Form of all other Forms;

The Beginning, and End, of Creation.
