The Indomitable Wind and its Lessons

By MatTehCat | MatTehCat's Blogs | 4 Feb 2020

In and out, you gently

And sweetly caress Life’s pain

Away with your spirit.

Yet, unexpectedly,

Your will can turn to madness,

Move from stillness to wrath.

Spare me from your fury,

Let me peacefully witness

The terror of your rage.

Take your righteous anger

Out upon those who’ve heard yet

Have ignored your word’s truth.

Deliver a torrent

Of such tremendous power

That they bend to your will.

Only then may those who stand in your way know that —

When they hear sooth — they ought to listen and obey.
