Whales and sharks accumulated $388 million in Bitcoins 24 hours before the Grayscale news broke. This raised doubts in the crypto space as to whether these entities had advance knowledge of the outcome of the news, as Bitcoin rose 6%.

Whales are those who own large amounts of Bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency. Sharks are those that have medium-sized amounts - neither as small as individual retail investors nor as large as institutional funds.
A very high-profile lawsuit between Grayscale Investments and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has raised a great wave of suspicion, as some participants in the crypto market suspect that certain whales knew about today's decision as early as yesterday, which could be a serious breach of trust if show that it is true. Bitcoin jumped 6% and one thing is clear, some whales have made great profits in less than 24 hours.

I want to emphasize that I am not among those who suspect that there was unfairness, but everything that needs to be checked should of course be checked, because the basis of every business is that everything is 100% fair for all participants.
