El Salvador, one of the first countries to officially adopt Bitcoin as legal tender, is once again in the spotlight in the cryptocurrency world. With the combined efforts of My First Bitcoin, Bitcoin Beach and the Ministry of Education, El Salvador today announced the start of an ambitious pilot program. This initiative aims to include Bitcoin education in all schools across the country by 2024.

Launched on the two-year anniversary of the groundbreaking Bitcoin law, the program is set to train 150 public school teachers on Bitcoin. Once trained, these educators will disperse across the nation, integrating bitcoin knowledge into their curriculum and classrooms.

It has been known for a long time that some universities in the USA have introduced some form of education, especially in the field of DeFi economy, but what Salvador has made is the biggest step forward in Crypto education of the entire country.
