Code Leaks, Power Deals, and Bot Wars: Crypto’s New Season Begins

Telegram might just become Grok’s next playground. Elon Musk’s xAI is reportedly in talks with the platform to deploy its chatbot across Telegram’s ecosystem. The proposed one-year deal would see Telegram pocket $300M in cash and equity, plus half the revenue from xAI subscriptions made through the app. Musk says nothing’s been signed - yet - but the handshake is already shaking things up. Telegram’s also lining up a $1.5B bond raise, with big names like BlackRock, Citadel, and Mubadala at the table.

While deals float, code sinks. DeFi platform Cork Protocol just lost $12M in a smart contract exploit. The attacker manipulated exchange rates between wstETH and weETH using fake tokens, swapped everything for ETH, and walked. The funds remain untouched. Cork hit pause on all smart contracts; damage control is in motion.

Back on chain, Bubblemaps has dropped V2 of its analytics platform, now with features like Magic Nodes and Time Travel to catch token tomfoolery in action and rewind suspicious histories. Bubblemaps' BMT token saw a brief lift - then settled back into place.

Deals, exploits, detectors. May ended with a twist, June walks in with eyes wide open.
