Most people will feel AI in articles or blogs now. The amount of generated content has gone up so fast that you can sense it. But the interesting part is what has been happening with AI music, especially on Spotify. According to Spotify, around seventy five million spam AI songs were uploaded on the platform.

These songs mostly target people who just vibe and search for something simple like “birthday wishes song,” “a song for my feelings,” or anything based on whatever words you type. So they take that exact phrase, make it the song title, and Spotify shows it first even if you were looking for something niche. And yes, Spotify does allow AI uploads.

In June a new song was suddenly at the top of the charts, Velvets Sundown Dust on the Wind. The band had around one point four million listeners. They told media outlets they were human and not AI. But people dug into it and found out the opposite. Eventually they admitted it. You can listen to the song to get the idea.

And honestly the comments are wild because people are actually vibing with it.

Then in November another song appeared, Walk My Walk, and it went straight to number one in country songs.

Spotify has said that in the coming months they will add labels to show whether a song is made by AI or if AI was used in some parts of it. But for now people have to go and investigate on their own.
