Early Summer Hike

By manoloC | manoloC | 22 Jun 2021

Started my hiking Season two weeks ago with a 3 hour hike up to mount Piz Mez (2729m above sea level) in the Swiss Alps. Nice weather for a walk, had to cross a few snow fields and there was a little soft hail just when i begun descending from the peak. Spotted a few alpine Marmots and a Chamois, which crossed a snow field on higher grounds, while lonely Eagle circled high above in the sky. Lots of Spring flowers in all colors where the snow has already melted and gone. The two little lakes situated on the route were still covered with ice and snow.
