I believe that for a person to define a single motto/slogan for their life would be very complicated, because they would be reducing all their experiences and ways of seeing the world to a single sentence. In my view, I believe that each person's Personal Motto would actually be a combination of factors that they consider important in their life and that they try to follow when possible or most of the time. Choosing just one would be too narrow of a person's vision to follow a single style, which is why I'm going to mention two mottos.
It's worth emphasizing that I'm not restricting myself to just these two, but because they are mottos that come from very famous characters in pop culture, I believe they can help more people define their own mottos, and as I already mentioned, if you like any of these you can add them to your life too. O primeiro muitos devem conhecer, já que é um personagem famoso dos quadrinhos, o Batman, com o seu lema do preparo. The second comes from an anima called Tensei Shittara Slime Datta Ken, from the character Rimuru, in which one of his abilities causes him to absorb and improve due to his slime characteristic. Curious? Come and discover these two mottos!
I'll be much appreaciated if you Votes, Reblogs or give any Tips. Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
Absorb and Growth like a Slime!
Giving a context, the character Rimuru Tempest was a human being who ended up being reincarnated in a fantasy world (famous isekai) and in this transition of worlds, his sensations and opinions ended up influencing his abilities and forms in this new world. At the end of the journey, he ended up transforming into a Slime with the ability Gluttony, which absorbs opponents and thus acquires their abilities. But much more than imitating the way the original version used the skill, he absorbs it for himself and uses it as needed and later in the work he begins to combine these skills to form even stronger ones.
It is possible to bring this fantasy story into the real world and turn it into a motto for your life. Would you like to know how? It's very simple, you won't go around absorbing anyone, but you can use observation. That's right, start by carefully observing your surroundings, see the successful people close to you and people you admire, who have already achieved what you want. In this process, when you find something that you identify as interesting and that could be useful to you, you simply seek to understand the origin of it, learn about it and simply absorb and adapt it for yourself.
It's similar to the phrase "1% better every day", but different because you end up making big improvements as soon as you completely absorb something good and useful for you and start using it. An example comes from reading itself, in which you can just read the content and do nothing with it, or you can carefully read books that can help you learn something and while reading you ask yourself how you could use it, the moment you find something, you stop and try to use and implement a process from the book, a tip, a suggestion, a new format and soon you will be evolving!
Prepare of Batman!
I don't know if you're a big hero fan, but there is a section of some YouTube channels where the theme is a battle between characters. One of these most classic battles always involves a random character and Batman "with preparation". That's right, it's not the simple Batman, but the legendary "Batman with preparation". One of these battles was between another great character from pop culture and anime, Goku against the human Batman. It would be impossible for anyone to think that Goku with the ability to destroy planets would lose to a human with armor, but Batman with his preparation won in this story. This is because in the Dragon Ball cannon the original Goku ended up dying due to a disease, so if Batman infected Goku with that same virus, the Saiyan would end up being defeated over time, without Batman having to face him directly.
Once again, taking it as a life motto, you can be prepared like Batman, organizing and preparing your entire week and leaving space for unforeseen events during the week, so that even if something happens outside of plan, it will still be within the plan. Planning for the unexpected is something Batman would do, and why can't you too? Always leave your devices charged in case of a power outage, in some cases always have double charge in case something breaks. Things like this could be part of your motto: "Have Batman training."
