Since I have got married, I have to tell lies. My in-laws are very sensitive and they get offended easily. That's why I have to hide the truth to make them satisfied.
For example, my mother-in-law knew that my husband has gone to a village for some reason and he'll come after the lunch. Still she asked "Where the hell he has gone?" after a while she replied to her own question "he'll come after 4:00pm"
Now if this would had said by my own family member like my mother ,sister or even my father, I'd mock them a lot. Like if you already knew then why you asked?
But in her case. I couldn't say this, I just replied with "hmmmm".
What I want to say is that don't be so serious, sensitive and hard that someone fears to say his heart out in front of you.
In such situation, when a person is jolly and straightforward that he just says what comes in his mind, becomes silent. He fears that if he says so, the listener might not be offended. Consequently, he started saying lies or hides the truth at least.
Another example from my home is that, back in the previous winters, I was working in kitchen the door bell rang. I went to open it and I took water gallons from the mineral water supplier. She heard all the sounds like opening the door, pushing the water gallons. As I was pouring water from one of the gallon into water cooler, she asked me
Who was at the door?
I was like 😑
I replied with "mineral water guy"
She again asked
"Did you take gallon from him?"
I was again like😣
I said yes
She again said
Fill the cooler I have emptied it.
I mean for what reason you do this lady? You have heard the sound clearly of the water being poured and still.....?
If she was from my family members I'd answer her total sarcastic. But I had to reply her with straightforward answers like "yes, I have done this".
Such types of people are very difficult to handle for me type people. I was (still am) very jolly but not for them. When I'm with others I show my true colors which are 😀😁😂😃😄😆😈😉
and with them I'm like 😐😑😶
