It's a beautiful spring day with a compelling hum that is getting progressively louder. I step out into the warm sun looking for the source of that beckoning hum. I see a few bees buzzing around my garden and step over there to watch. Soon more bees join us and I realize I have joined the Queen's court.
I stand quietly as her court swarm around me, including me in their helix dance of life. Dancing on my face and arms, enjoying the warmth of the sun, the hum of sisterhood, and the joy of being alive. Eventually the draw of home leads the Queen on to a new location and new flowers. Her court follow and I am left with the Queen's blessings, a fruitful garden and a taste of the sweet life.
