Well, Hey there everyone who knows who I am!
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Richard, known as SkinnerCrypto in these parts. I've been pretty gosh dang busy in life, having nearly completed my first year in IRL business designing houses and... well... still working my 9-5. It's been a successful year, especially for a first one. BUT I get to make cool shit like this:

After my foray into NFTs, I realized that I had dropped a wee bit of enthusiasm I had for the Crypto Genre. I interacted with some really nasty people, and that really turned me off for a while.
Not that I didn't like money or LOVE me some of that sweet ass electronic wizard money, but I found that I was really lacking in ideas for quality content. Of course, I could go back to my tried-and-true method of just taking the piss at every possible opportunity, and I just might do that again. I really miss the community, and I wish I had more time to write like I used to. Stupid life, getting in the way.
Despite my deficient impetus, one thing that definitely DID NOT stop was my unending desire to create something new and hopeful for the future. Who the hell am I to do something like that? Well, I'm precisely nobody, but my ideas did seem to garner a lot of attention here. Creating an intentional community model that focuses on the people is an interesting project. It's a passion of mine. I creatively go where the... uh, "winds of creativity" take me, as it were.
If you have no freaking idea what I'm talking about, please consult my multi-part series on THE INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY OF THE FUTURE! Basically, I banged my head on the keyboard repeatedly until some semblance of sanity came out. That led me down the biggest rabbit hole of my life. Like, THOUSANDS of dollars of reference material:

I

HAVE NO LIFE

PLEASE SEND HELP.
HOURS of reading, writing, getting blazed out of my gourd, and then doing it all over again. Every so often I come up with some really cool insights like:

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS EVEN... HERE'S A HINT.
Uh oh, ORIGINAL RESEARCH? That's awesome. Also, because of the super awesome GIMP skills I learned here, I started the beginning of designing my own book cover:

WORK IN PROGRESS. YEAH BABY.
I even got an ISBN! CHECK IT OUT HERE!
Okay, Ginger Man, what are you trying to say?
Good question. What I'm trying to say about my trajectory into this "Magnum Opus" of mine is that I owe a LOT to this community for feedback and really, just a modicum of attention. If it weren't for you folks, I probably never would have embarked on this journey. I've written probably a couple hundred thousand words here, received probably about half a million views or more, and I absolutely appreciate all of it.
So, here's what I'm thinking:
1.) I'm gonna write here again. Crypto is still on the table, but I REALLY want to focus on developments in my research and present it in a fun way to you guys for feedback and fun. I'll probably release an article a week or so, possibly more if there's time for it. Also, lulz. Like trying to spread the rumor of Justin Sun's ass tattoo or something.
2.) I NEED YOUR HELP! Yeah, here we go... THE CATCH. Actually, all I'm asking is for you to VISIT MY PATREON PAGE, which is still a work in progress, but something I'm using to develop the capital needed for additional resources and reference materials, editing costs when the time comes, and a way to kinda justify the time spent. If you're willing to throw the cost of a cup of coffee my way every month, it will get this thing moving nicely. You can read the first chapter for FREE on my Patreon, too. See if it's worth your time. I sure hope it is.
3.) Once it's all said and done, Kindle copies will be available for free for a time once I publish. I'll announce that here, as well as on Patreon.
4.) Once Community Cybernetics is done, I'm looking at developing some companion books long term. I'm looking at 3 other books that delve into each of domains of my notion of cybernetic community: Social, Governance and Economics. These would be deep dives, more technical details and so on. Additionally, I decided to place some more practical stuff in a direct companion to Community Cybernetics that deals with infrastructure, architecture and other practical details.

Just Realized My Dumb Ass Misspelled "Economics". That's a Paddlin'
In addition (with the future commission of a KICK ASS GRAPHIC NOVEL ARTIST), I'm going to create a graphic novel - something in the vein of Walden Two - to help with popularizing my ideas. FUTURISM and ENTERTAINMENT! Also, Humanity Lost kicks ass. If you're a scifi person like me, then you'll definitely appreciate it.
5.) ADDITIONAL MEDIA? Maybe. I want to dabble into the Youtube a bit, which I think would be really cool. Still working on putting that together.
One way or another, I hope to get recognized one of these days. Maybe this is the start of that. Also it would be nice to eventually focus on this and my other work full time.
Good to see everyone. Keep you eye on the markets and... THE FUTURE!
