So, After reading The CRYPTONATOR's Superbly Awesome Top 5 Article, I thought, "hey, maybe some of these follower folks would like to know what I'm into." So, I took a look at the coffers and and decided (after placing a long winded comment on Cryptonator's article - sorry buddy) to share my top 5 projects of interest and what I have invested in them (These are in NO Particular Order):
1.) Tron/TRX
I have a bit of a... Love/Hate Relationship with Tron. I LOVE it because of the staking/freezing scheme. I really enjoy staking stuff because you know... free money. I love Free Money. Hell, I like money.
Basically Me.
At the same time, this rather awesome currency was brought to us by the Darth Vader of The Crypto World... Justin "Ass Tattoo Aficionado and Mayonaise Gargler" Sun. I DO NOT like how he condoned Binance's hostile takeover of the #1 SR position, and I REALLY don't like his hostile takeover of Steemit. In fact, I think calling him the Darth Vader of Crypto is FAR too generous. Vader is a badass. He's more... The Dark Helmet of the Crypto World.
Ah, Much Better.
ANYWAYS, I HODL a decent amount of TRX and I freeze/vote with it. I think that to eschew it entirely in this situation is the wrong move; I'd rather vote for some other guys that do a good job with their project and most of all reliably pay out. So, I vote with TronWalletMe. They might be a Tron Approved wallet, but they are really nice. So yeah, they get my vote.
MY TRX HOLDINGS: 21,682 TRX (~279.09 USD) With Approx. 4 TRX earned Daily.
Not the biggest holder in the world, but I'm working on that. I wanna get some more of that sweeet crypto. If the price increases, I'll likely see a really nice return. Until Then, Frozen and HODLING. I had more at one point, but I moved stuff around to play with other projects. But, I'm building it back up now.
2.) HIVE/HIVE Power
Many of you might know that I'm a big fan of HIVE. They're the Shot heard 'round the world in int the Social Blockchain Space. I think the founders were in the right to hard fork, and I'll support them. I'm doing pretty well so far there as well in terms of my posts. Love the community, espcially OCD. They're some good folks and give me another great outlet for my asshole ramblings. Thumbs Up all the way. Now, I put in a decent amount when I was on Steemit, and so I got a pretty decent Airdrop when they copied the chain over to HIVE. On top of that, I have my post rewards break down 50% HP/50% Hive Tokens. I normally will cash out the Hive Tokens on BlockTrades and exchange it for Ethereum, which I can take to other exchanges for other pprojects or cash out on Coinbase (since I'm verified with them. BTW, Fuck KYC and Being and AmeriBruger. Makes it SO HARD sometimes to get in the game with the tokens I wanna invest in). If you're a member, please consider giving me a follow on HIVE!
My HP HOLDINGS: ~2472 HP (~400.00 USD).
I have aspirations of getting a little bigger, making this a consistent source of income over time. That of course... will take time! I need to read up more on how to do that as well as if there would be any benefits to say, eventually becoming a Witness or some other person with influence If I can really do well there.
3. Bittorrent Token/BTT
I did a post on Bitorrent in February, and I think the idea was pretty cool. I was REALLY dumbfounded by the number of tokens they have created (OVER 900 BILLION), but I think that if they get the ecosystem off the ground, they very well could be a big force in the mass adoption game (Bittorrent and their affiliated projects have over 100 MILLION users). So, I expect the amount of tokens is a red flag, but if they get used on their platform and there are literally millions of people using it, it could become one hell of a huge market cap token, possibly even exceeding Bitcoin. Add the Stock to Flow model staying true post-BTC halving (NEXT MONTH!) and I might have a winner here. I see this as a long term HODL.
And I know, I know... another Justin Sun Company. It doesn't bother me in this case. Even megalomaniacs have good ideas.
MY BTT HOLDINGS: 23,108 BTT (~5.00 USD)
I'm still accumulating some BTT, but my goal is to own 1 million+ BTT. Striking while the iron is hot. I also get a small amount of airdropped tokens due to my TRX holdings (This Month was about 232 BTT).
4.) TronWallet Token/TWX
I like the TronWallet Project. I hold and vote my TRX with them. I did a post a while back when I was first getting into the CryptoBlogging game. I think they're a solid project, and the trust has been built because they are a reliable payout. It's like clockwork with these guys. ALSO, they're gonna be rolling out TWX staking sometime in Q2 2020, so I wanna be ready with a solid position when that happens. And Yes... It's another TRC project... Love/hate relationship guys.
MY TWX HOLDINGS: 129,829 TWX (~18.00 USD)
Again, I'm still accumulating here. I wanna get to 1 million+ like I want to do with BTT. They are suggesting a staking reward between 5%-10% APR. That would be about 75,000 TWX in a year or about 205 a day. Free money. If the price goes up, then I'll be rocking. Also, since I use their wallet quite a bit, it would be good to have TWX on hand for transactions (you can use it as payment through their wallet). They also convert tokens to bitcoin and now ethereum. YAY!
5.) Basic Attention Token/BAT
God, I LOVE BAT. I want to make love to them. If no consent on IRL love, I'll gladly take a little cyber. They are a solid crypto with a plan; to TOKENIZE ATTENTION! And they have been MADLY Successful. We get paid in BAT here (and if you have the Brave Browser, you get some there too!) so naturally, I accumulate it. The price might increase over time, so I'll probably just HODL it. I believe in their shit, so I'm happy to keep on supporting.
MY BAT HOLDINGS: ~300 BAT (~45.00 USD)
Holding out for say.... oh maybe 0.50 USD someday? Ohhhh that would be nice.
HONORABLE MENTION BECAUSE CRYPTONATOR DID THIS TOO:
LibertyOS Token/LIB
Ah here, we go... so I'm on the fence with this one because as of recently, I have had an inkling that things might not be on the "up and up" with LibertyOS. They did lot of publicity, Got an interview with DataDash and others, and I have done a couple articles on them myself. The OS is based on ArchLinux and honestly... it needs a little work. They are in the early phases, after all. BUT, Their token sale ends Q4 of 2021, and I will be able to see by then if things panned out. I have contacted Stephen Fang on progress, and suggested to my Brother from a Canadian Mother Scott Cunningham to see if he can contact and set up an interview. He is a WHIZ at whipping up those interviews.
SO.. while the token sale is still going on, I can't guarantee that I'll get the tokens.. but this is what I "have" (if all goes to plan):
LIB TOKENS: 54,890 LIB (~ 550.00 USD) (They have a "staking" program where you get 50% APR)
Yeah, I know... But I still believe in them. They could be the BRAVE of Operating Systems if they REALLY get after this. I wanna see them succeed. TIme will tell if I am a fool... and I will have learned an expensive lesson if proven to be one.
