The most significant perks of cryptocurrency adoption and the enormous benefits they bring tend to be overlooked. We are currently floating in an ocean of limitless potential and endless possibilities to generate value, but the ways in which the space is destined to reshape the way we live go much deeper than that.

Money is where it all starts, but there are many more levels to explore and infiltrate. There's a paradigm shift taking place - one that will inevitably result in corrective changes.

Sure, the ability to monetize information in an instant and generate income through all sorts of internet activities is a big deal, and it's already making a huge difference in the lives of millions of people around the world. However, the key attributes of decentralization have the potential to bring about real change regarding the most important functions of society.

The survival and progress of individuals depends on a set of rules we, as a form of organization, have put in place and agreed upon. Satisfaction of basic needs, preservation of order, management of the economy, communication; everything depends on the way we handle the finite resources we have managed to get access to.

Our ability as a species to produce, store, process and communicate information is the very reason why we managed to conquer the planet even though we are physically inferior to most other species roaming the Earth. It's the all-powerful weapon that got us this far, and this fact serves as evidence that freely accessible information increases the rate at which we solve problems that stall our further development.

This is why transparency is extremely important in business, government, communication and so on. But can we ever be certain that no suppression of information is taking place whatsoever? I say we finally do stand a chance now.

The blockchain technology introduced the concept of decentralization for the first time ever, showing the world how there can be order and true transparency in a censorship-resistant, permissionless environment. The public ledger is a revolutionary record-keeping system we can use to tackle so many of the problems related to corruption that we are faced with in 2021.

I honestly believe that this is one of the key reasons why the space has been attracting so much attention lately. Call me a dreamer, but I'm definitely not the only one dreaming of a better world around here. Sure, my personal gains do make me happy and keep me motivated to push on, but that's not all I expect of the crypto space.

Changing the world for the better is a noble cause, and we're all given a chance to contribute to this direction by raising awareness, and therefore, empowering our fellow citizens who have no idea about the space yet. Just spread that knowledge and show them how they can improve their lives through the blockchain tech. One person a day.

Time flies and we will soon be living in a better world built for us by us. Those bits and bytes are here to stay.
