No Time to Play

Ten days in and PolyCUB still consumes a lot of my time on a daily basis. Yield farming should be all about sitting back and letting your crypto work for you, but there are so many different scenarios and options that I keep revising my farming strategy while staying tuned with the market. APRs are still insane and POLYCUB is currently regaining value. Not to mention the ever-growing PC/xPC Ratio. #NumberAlwaysGoUp vibes are real.

The new platform produced by the LeoFinance team is quite interesting to say the least. I've been earning yield in two farms and two kingdoms since day one, and I'm still trying to figure out if I'm playing it right. Of course, that depends on a number of factors, but in reality it all comes down to speculation about possible future events.

Luckily I took some profit on day three and flipped it all into the stablecoin kingdom. There's a reason why this kingdom has a TVL of $1.8 million and counting. With a total APY of 201.5%, this is the place to invest some money right now if you ask me. Markets can get nuked tomorrow morning and my investment will remain untouched and keep printing money for me. A productive safety net? Sign me up.

I maintain my position in the pLEO/wMATIC farm and take those 50% penalties once a day in order to keep adding to my position in the POLYCUB/USDC farm. I've figured it's worth it as long as the average APR over the course of 90 days remains above a specific level. This seems to be the million dollar question lately, and even though I'm not going to talk numbers, I'll just say that if the average APR provided grants you a 100% ROI over the course of 90 days, then taking those penalties is a no-brainer.

In terms of POLYCUB tokens accumulated that is. Still, it all depends on price action and emission rates, and the former is unfortunately unpredictable. If you're looking at the dollar value of things, we are going to need a crystal ball. My excel sheet costs a lot by the way, so don't even go there xD. Free tip: APRs change dynamically; there's risk involved.

And while this is a risk that I'm willing to take, I like to balance it all out by adding to my stablecoin kingdom position on a weekly basis, using trading profits and fiat income streams. Stablecoin pools on Sushi and PCS - at least that I know of - pay out less than 20% APY as we speak, so the kingdom on PolyCUB is hands down my best bet. This is easy money, and my heart goes out to the people earning 0.01% APY on their bank account. This is a crazy, unfair world.

PlayToEarn has been a pretty time-consuming hustle for me lately as well, and I'm still waiting for the Ragnarok launch. Brixel War devs have been fixing all bugs and issues at a high pace as of late, and word that the BLP token will get listed on PCS soon is in the air. I'm currently battling like a maniac and playing the rental market game on Splinterlands, farming BLP on Brixel War, earning CROP and HIVE on dCrops, and stacking more LVL as the launch of Psyber X is close.

It's going to be an action-packed year for the P2E idustry without a doubt. I will have to come up with ways of creating more free time in order not to miss out. There will be huge opportunities to take advantage of an early lead in all of the aforementioned P2E platforms, and the best part is that more and more such apps keep popping up out of nowhere every day.

Keep your eyes open at all times. Time is your most valuable resource, but money is good too. Accelerating change is a real thing, and technology is evolving fast, providing us with opportunities never seen before. There's an ocean of wealth out there; roll up your sleeves and get what's yours.
