The Russian attacks continue on Ukraine via missile strikes and drone strikes today. The Ukranians have also attempted further attacks in the Kherson region but were repulsed by the Russians. 

Foreigners have been advised to leave Ukraine as Russia builds up troops and logistics in multiple regions. Ukraine has had a large number of successful counterattacks in the last few weeks taking back large areas taken initially by the Russians in February 2022.

The explosions on the Nord Stream pipelines seems to have lost media interest and there does not appear to be a focus by the EU or member countries on investigating who conducted these attacks.

The EU seems to be backtracking in general on green energy as a cold winter with a shortage of gas and oil in general. The EU continues to suggest Russia is using gas as a weapon whereas the Russians reply they are happy to supply if payment is received in Russian rubles, which cannot be sanctioned by the West.

Here is a video from a Western volunteer who fought with the Ukranian Azov Battalion. It gives an on the ground view point with no filters.

And there also appears to be increasing pressure from the US for Ukraine to continue to attack so that the West can push the narrative that Russia is being beaten. And is the EU cutting off its nose despite its face by not being keen to take Russian gas despite low supplies, high prices and a upcoming cold winter. Should Ukraine negotiate a peace deal with Russia? Perhaps the West, UK and US in particular, don't want that.

What are your thoughts and opinions? It is a terrible conflict, with so many innocent people forced to leave, losing their homes, and loved ones. I hope it ends very soon.
