AI is a powerful tool, which can be used to assist individuals, families and businesses in topics and tasks of all kinds. Rather than dismissing it as a fad or a passing whim, it is worthwhile having a deeper look at the capabilities that are on hand.
From editing documents to compiling data, to researching real estate, to automated bots that run stock and crypto profiles the uses are essentially endless.
I have been using Poe for quite some time now, as it gives you access to multiple AIs across multiple companies. You can use the cheaper ones for quick queries or choose more expensive models for deep analysis and reasoning. There are even AIs specifically designed for images, video and speech.
The benefit of Poe is not only the wide range of AIs on offer including Grok, ChatGPT, a range of Claude models, Gemini models, Nano Banana models, Kimi models, Deep Seek models and more. This allows you to decide which models you want to use and experiment to see which models work best for your requirements. Poe is also beneficial from allowing you to store your chats, to subscribe to get access to higher end models and to earn some $ from building and publishing your own AI bots.
Poe even allows users to build their own bots, either for private use or you can publish them for public use as well.

This bot is essentially an AI version of a grumpy old man. He will complain, moan and whinge, but will eventually give you the sage old advice of a grandfather or older uncle. You may get some surprising responses!
This bot is an expert shopper, both online and in person. It can find the best customer service, the best range of products or the best prices. It can analyze hundreds of webpages and product details and summarise them in seconds.
This bot may either annoy you, amuse you or motivate you, depending upon your side of the political fence. Ask him business questions, political questions or for his opinion on others. Talk to him at your own risk!
4. Ask me Anything - Claude Haiku
This bot is great for any queries or questions at all. It is a pretty cheap bot using one of the most recent Claude Haiku models. It is a great place to start and to see some of the capabilities of AI in general.
An AI version of Dr Jordan Petersen. Now if you need life advice, success tips or opinions on Western Governments, then this AI bot is for you. It may well tell you to make your bed first!
If you are having trouble at home with family or your partner, or even workmates or friends, then this AI bot is for you. It will give straightforward, unbiased and non-emotive support and advice when you are having relationship challenges.
These are just some examples of the AI bots I have built. If you need anything more specific, then please let me know and I will build it for you. I highly recommend giving AI a shot. I was dubious and avoided it at first, being a bit older.
However, I have not looked back since starting to use AI. Most importantly though, I use AI to augment and assist me, not to replace or remove. You always need to double check what AI says and AI still does not replace the experience and qualifications of experts.
