The majority of the posts, videos and media coverage is all about Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, there are thousands of crypto currencies out there with all sorts of business cases, ideas and usage. Anything that is outside of Bitcoin and Ethereum is known as a alt or alternative coin.

There have been a number of altcoin booms this year, but more recently in the last few months, altcoins have been playing very much second fiddle to the Bitcoin bull run.

Perhaps now is the time to look at altcoins and get in early before they get "discovered." Some altcoins go up 100, 200, 300 times as their prices are much lower and so have so much more room to go to the moon.
