Miners accused Bitmain of supplying defective Antminer S17+

A number of mining companies have accused Bitmain of supplying defective Antminer S17+devices.

Co-founder of the American company WATTUM Arseniy Grusha wrote on LinkedIn that a month later, every third miner found problems.773a3c0c202aa6ddbf8a63cc7d20f70ea0b37f6e067d3533ea05dc38ffb95c62.png

The situation also affected other users who joined the Telegram group and are demanding damages from Bitmain.

Only the losses of WATTUM, according to the company's representatives, are estimated in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, as the miners were purchased in large batches in the run-up to halving.

Previously, the products of the Antminer 17 line have already been criticized by Chinese users. They also claimed that the failure rate of Antminer T17 and S17+ devices reaches 30%.
