According to Variety, a film inspired by "Bitcoin Billionaires", Ben Mezrich’s book, is on the way. A book detailing the recent journey of the Winklevoss Twins. So here is everything you should know.
The Origin of the Story
Almost everyone knows the story of the twins, who are now cryptocurrency whales. If you don’t, here’s a little reminder.
Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss are the twin brothers who accused Mark Zuckerberg of stealing their idea to create a revolutionary new social network: Facebook. This story had already been the subject of a book, "The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook" written by Ben Mezrich. The book was then adapted into a film (and you probably all watched it) : "The Social Network".
The Film
The film will be directed by production company Stampede Ventures and produced by Warner Bros alumnus Greg Silverman. We can find out what has happened since the trial of the Winklevoss Twins and Mark Zuckerbeg and how they finally managed to make a fortune in cryptocurrencies and more specifically what they did around Bitcoin.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see this movie. To me, it really looks like this is yet another chance to see the Blockchain and cryptocurrencies enter people’s minds. This could still save considerable time for the development of Blockchain technology since new vocations, new projects could appear.
