Known Short History
The LUNC or Terra Classic which holds the 3rd largest ecosystem compared to BTC and Eth which ecosystem collapsed in 2022 dropping the value below 0 still has it's loyalists and new investors holding the native coin LUNC as primarily for staking.
Recent Rumors and Price Fluctuation
After the collapse it became one of the quite reliable stablecoins under 0.00 value and new investors start buying it in huge amounts in expectant to start a completely new league of profits for the crypto. That is the under 0.00 league.
While the old investors who had bought the crypto at it's early prices which is around 1 dollar that suffered huge losses left almost completely. Amounting about 2 billions USD in loss.
It is a valid expectation that in this new league of profit with new investors of under 0 crypto can yield a huge amount of profit with minute movements.
As the saying goes, "Once you're rock bottom there's nowhere to go but up" unless you choose to stay down that is. A lot of LUNC loyalists believe in this and thereby recent price fluctuation solidify their conviction in the crypto revival to a dollar. The rumors which are really no different than news with advertisements also had boost it's popularity among newcomers of crypto-investors. The point is, it works. People are buying the coin and the value rises up.
Personal Opinion
My personal opinion of LUNC is it will stay under 0 for a decade or so but as I had mentioned the minute fluctuation of the crypto in the net positive would reward the new investors that bought it after the ecosystem collapsed more than the previous investors before it collapsed. Which makes it quite an opportunity in the present time to the near future to be had for those that are quick enough to grasp it.
