Some of us have flocked to Publish0x because we saw Brave ads promising free crypto, others, because of the articles themselves, but something most authors on this platform wants is more crypto for their work. Of course you could focus on growing your reader pool or writing even better articles, but there are other ways, one of which I am going to focus on in this article.

New crypto currencies are launched all the time, a large amount either go nowhere or fail outright, but a few coins with sound whitepapers make it through the melee of novelty. To get their new coins past this stage some founders launch intriguing air drops for those interested in earning some tokens and in return they spread the word. One example would be the current up and coming oil backed BlackGold, they are currently air dropping coins in anticipation of their own launch in late April. In return for posting articles and making tweets about the coin they reward the writer with a small sum of tokens. Now the BlackGold team is not the only newcomers looking for a spot in the sun, so if you manage to find a new project looking for exposure, writing an article on Publish0x opens the road for two streams of income.

For those interested BlackGold is a new token pegged to the OPEC reference basket on a 1:1 ratio, meaning that one token is worth the same as one barrel of oil. At the time of writing this article that would mean one BLKG would be worth around $20. Besides that the coin has a burnable/mintable supply to be able to follow the ups and downs of the oil prices.
